
Vacancies: Training Officer / Accounting and Administration Officer / Project Officer (Training)
The Hong Kong Adventure Corps is a registered non-profit youth uniformed group dedicated to providing discipline, outdoor adventure, and leadership training to young people. The Corps’ operational expenses are subvented annually by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies:
Direct Duties & Tasks:
Oversee all Corps training affairs and ensure effective planning, execution, and evaluation of training programmes.
Maintain and conduct the operation of all training facilities to ensure safety, readiness, and compliance.
Establish and maintain training standards across all programmes to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with Corps objectives.
Support the enhancement of training quality through continuous review, development, and improvement initiatives.
Promote and develop the Corps’ training services to strengthen visibility, participation, and programme impact.
Supervise all Unit Training Officers and provide guidance, coordination, and performance oversight.
Liaise and coordinate with internal Committees and Teams on all training matters, including policy development and programme implementation.
Liaise and coordinate with external organisations regarding all training services and collaborative programmes.
Perform general office duties related to training administration and documentation
Requirements
Holder of a recognised Associate Degree or equivalent qualification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Proficient in standard office computer applications.
Prior experience in youth uniformed organisations or outdoor adventure training is highly advantageous.
Possession of a valid driving licence is preferred.
Candidates who do not meet the minimum academic requirements but possess substantial relevant working experience will also be considered.
13 days of paid annual leave, MPF, and medical insurance.
Handle daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general accounting duties.
Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems, and contribute to month-end closing as well as the consolidation of management accounts.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounting discrepancies.
Follow up on payment records and outstanding items.
Cross-check invoices and project P&Ls.
Assist with administrative tasks when required.
Higher Diploma/Diploma in Accountancy with LCCI Intermediate or above.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in social service organisations is preferred but not essential.
Company secretarial experience is an advantage.
Hands-on, detail-minded, and responsible.
Willingness to learn and support both accounting and administrative work.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with the ABSS System is an advantage.
Meticulous attention to detail is essential, along with a good command of Chinese and English.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
5.5-day work week.
Required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
Shift duties may be required when operational needs arise.

Liaise and coordinate with external affiliate organisations regarding training (e.g. Hong Kong, China Mountaineering and Climbing Union Limited, The Hong Kong Award for the Young People).
Handle licence renewals related to training facilities, affiliate organisations, and other regulated items.
Maintain and conduct the operation of all training facilities and equipment.
Maintain and conduct records of all training photos and videos.
Provide basic graphic design support for training related materials.
Perform general office duties to support training administration
