The Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps warmly invites passionate and committed individuals to join us as volunteer instructors, making a meaningful contribution to our community and youth. You will receive rigorous training to guide young people through challenges, empowering them to become the future pillars of society.

Requirements for Becoming a Potential Instructor

  1. Permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) aged 21 or above.
  2. Fluent in Cantonese and able to read and write both Chinese and English.
  3. Good character.
  4. Good physical fitness.




  5. Be confident
  6. Identify with the ideals, mission, and beliefs of this organization
  7. Pass the organization's interview and selection process.

We expect you to possess:

  1. Strong communication skills
  2. Good judgment
  3. Leadership and management potential
  4. Drive and motivation
  5. Positive personality and values
  6. Language skills and cognitive abilities
  7. Physical fitness

If you have relevant/specified professional qualifications for the training of this organization, your application will also be given priority consideration.

Apply to join

The instructor training program of the Corps will be conducted depending on the number of applicants, usually holding about one to two classes each year. Interested individuals can apply online through the link below. When the number of applicants meets the requirements, the organization will individually notify applicants for the interview and selection process.
