2026 Youth National Security Ambassador Training Program (Round 8)
Purpose | : | To cultivate the patriotic sentiment of young people in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, enhance the younger generation's understanding of the positive significance of national security, and encourage them to actively participate in the maintenance of national security, the Home Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau now invites our group to nominate young members to participate in the "2026 Youth National Security Ambassador Training Program." | |
Content | : | Participants in the "Youth National Security Ambassador Training Program" will be arranged to participate in courses taught by Legislative Council members, senior educators, university lecturers, and professionals, including visits to the National Security Exhibition Hall, interactive classroom learning, national security information dissemination skills, and exhibition hall guiding skills training. The content covers modern national history, national conditions and development, overall national security concept, overview of national security laws in the Special Administrative Region and important cases, comparison of national security laws in various countries, personal participation and contributions under Chinese-style modernization, etc. The course will also include career planning and prudent financial management content. The first phase of the program will be taught in three sessions (a total of 12 hours). | |

Remarks | : | Ø Participants must attend all three sessions. Ø Being a Youth National Security Ambassador is an honorable voluntary work. Those who complete the course will receive a Youth National Security Ambassador appointment certificate, a special badge, distinctive souvenirs, and national security education sharing materials. Ø Outstanding performers will also have the opportunity to be selected for training as volunteer guides at the National Security Exhibition Hall and participate in advanced national security education courses/visits. Ø Youth National Security Ambassadors who complete the training can promote national security information and organize visits to the National Security Exhibition Hall within their youth groups and peers. |
